Aryika Gyanmati Government Girls Polytechnic, Ayodhya is established in 2001 to impart Technical Education to Girls . Ayodhya is historical city, Birthplace of Bhagwan Ram. This Polytechnic is named after highly admired and respected jain sadhvi aryika gyanmati. The Polytechnic is situated at Lucknow Road . The campus measures 17.33 Acres of land, equipped with Academic block, STS block, Workshop building, 3 Girls Hostel, Sports Ground and Staff Quarters. The Polytechnic is run by Government of Uttar Pradesh and affiliated to Board of Technical Education Uttar Pradesh. The courses are approved by AICTE, INDIA. This Polytechnic is for girls candidate only.The Polytechnic is under administrative control of Department of Technical Education through Directorate of Technical Education U.P. Kanpur.

Admission Procedure

Admission is conducted through the Joint Entrance Examination Council, U.P. , Lucknow. Admission forms are to be filled on line in the middle of December every year. The Entrance exam is conducted on line in the month of June and the result/ Counselling is conducted in June/July. The process of admission is completed in the last week of the July. Admission details are available on website https://jeecup.admissions.nic.in/

Academics

Curriculum and examination is conducted through the Board Of Technical Education U.P.. The Diploma certificate is awarded by the same Board. http://bteup.ac.in
There are two semester in a year. 1st ,3rd and 5th semester begins in July and examination conducts in December. 2nd ,4th and 6th semester begins in January and examination counducts in May.
Teaching methodology includes classroom teaching, lab practical, field exposure, industrial tour, seminar, project works, expert lectures etc..
The grade evaluation is done through sessional exams, practical exams, internal evaluation and theory examination.
